As a , I shared a room with my sister. I'd hear the door open in the room late at night... and my Dad would slip in the room. He'd go over to my sister and play with her, touch her, sit on her - she never even flinched. You know, she's great now - it didn't mess with her in any way. In fact, maybe she's better off because of it.
